Security and Account Management

Will my card still work if my account is locked?

Yes. If your account is locked due to 5 incorrect password attempts, your DPT card remains fully active and can still be used for transactions. Only login access is restricted. Your account will automatically unlock after 24 hours.

How do I disable my account?

To temporarily deactivate your account, go to Security, then Disable Account in the DPT app. Your account will be temporarily deactivated and can be reactivated later by logging back in.

This is different from deleting your account, which is permanent after a 15-day grace period.

Does DPT ever ask for my password or CVV?

No. DPT will never ask you for your password, full card number, CVV, or wallet recovery phrase. If you receive a message asking for any of these, it is not from DPT. Please report it immediately.

How do I set up two-factor authentication (2FA)?

DPT supports two-factor authentication via passkey and authenticator app. To enable 2FA:

  1. Open the DPT app
  2. Go to Profile, then Security
  3. Enable 2FA and follow the setup instructions

If you lose access to your 2FA device, you can use your registered email to enable or disable 2FA.

I forgot my password

To reset your password, tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen and follow the instructions sent to your registered email.

If you are not receiving the reset email, please check your spam folder.

How do I report a fraudulent or unauthorized charge?

If you see a charge on your card that you did not make:

  1. Freeze your card immediately in the DPT app to prevent further unauthorized use.
  2. Contact our support team with the details of the transaction (date, amount, merchant name).
  3. Chargebacks must be reported within 60 days of the statement posting date.

Our team will investigate and assist you with the dispute process.

I think my account has been hacked

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, take these steps immediately:

  1. Freeze your card in the DPT app to prevent any unauthorized transactions.
  2. Change your password using the "Forgot Password" option on the login screen.
  3. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if you have not already. Go to Profile, then Security in the app.
  4. Review your recent transaction history for any charges you do not recognize.

Anti-Phishing Code

DPT provides an anti-phishing code feature to help you verify that emails from DPT are genuine.

You can set a custom code (a word or phrase that only you know). All official emails from DPT will include this code. If an email claims to be from DPT but does not contain your anti-phishing code, do not trust it.

How to set up your anti-phishing code:

  1. Open the DPT app
  2. Go to Profile, then Security
  3. Select Anti-Phishing Code
  4. Create your unique code

DPT will never ask you for your password, full card number, CVV, or wallet recovery phrase. If you receive a message asking for any of these, it is not from DPT.

Spending Notifications

DPT sends real-time push notifications for card transactions, so you are immediately informed whenever your card is used.

If you are not receiving notifications, please check your device notification settings for the DPT app.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

DPT supports two-factor authentication via passkey and authenticator app. You can enable 2FA in the app by going to Profile, then Security.

If you lose access to your 2FA device, you can use your registered email to enable or disable 2FA.

Resetting Your Password

If you have forgotten your password, tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen and follow the instructions sent to your registered email.

If you are not receiving the reset email, please check your spam folder.

KYT Transaction Monitoring

DPT uses KYT (Know Your Transaction) monitoring, which means all transactions are screened in real time for sanctions violations, fraud, and illegal activity. This is in place to ensure compliance and protect all users on the platform.

No action is required on your part.
