Freezing and locking are two different states for your card, and the main difference is who triggers them.
Freezing is something you do manually in the DPT app. You can freeze your card at any time to temporarily stop all transactions, and you can unfreeze it whenever you want.
Locking, on the other hand, is triggered automatically by the system when you enter your CVV, expiry date, or PIN incorrectly 3 times. The lock lasts for 24 hours and then lifts automatically, so there's no action needed on your part.
In both cases, no transactions will be processed while the card is frozen or locked.
