Transactions and Refunds

I was charged twice for the same purchase

If you notice a duplicate charge on your account, one of the transactions may be a temporary authorization hold placed by the merchant.

  • Temporary Authorization Hold: In most cases, temporary holds will automatically expire and be released within a few business days.
  • Persistent Duplicate Charge: If both charges are finalized or the hold remains after a few days:
    • Contact the Merchant (Recommended & Fastest): We strongly recommend reaching out directly to the merchant to resolve this. It is usually the quickest and most efficient way to get your refund.
    • Submit a Dispute via DPT: If the merchant is unresponsive and the disputed transaction amount is greater than 30 USD, you can contact us to submit a formal chargeback request. Please note that a 50 USD non-refundable processing fee applies per dispute (see our Dispute Resolution FAQ for details).

If you choose to contact us, please prepare the transaction details (Date, Amount, and Merchant Name) along with supporting proof.
